Make a small round willow basket in a day
Join Richard from Windrush Willow at Seaton Wetlands for a willow weaving course suitable for beginners.
During the day you will learn to make a round willow basket.
A great fun day with some serious learning elements.
No tools or experience necessary. Please bring an apron, notepad and packed lunch.
Cost includes all willow materials, expert tuition and hot drinks throughout the day.
Two good strong hands needed for willow weaving.
Must be 12 years or over to work independently.
The class takes place in the peaceful Reed Base classroom in the heart of the Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve.

Whatever your experience come along and improve your bird identification skills
Join an experienced volunteer guide for an informal drop-in session to help improve your bird identification skills and get the most out of your visit to Seaton Wetlands.
All are welcome to come and enjoy time spent birdwatching, whatever your level of knowledge.
Hide TBC, follow signs on the day.
Telescopes and binoculars are available for use in the hide free of charge during the session.
Warm-up with a trip to the The Discovery Hut, open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 12 January for hot drinks, refreshments and more information about the site.
